Wastewater Treatment Processing

Bar screening the rotary bar screen is installed at the inlet of pump station or water treatment system, with the purpose of removal the particle waste like the weeds, wood, waste rubber, any garbage or plastic waste, big solid and suspended.

Equalization tank, it’s an adjusting water tank, mix the input sewage, adjust the PH & make sure input water supplied stable, this tank builds with the purpose of sediment the suspended and big particles.

Pretreatment Stage: Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) 

Function: Removes free oils, grease, suspended solids (SS), and colloidal particles through micro-bubble flotation.  

 Key Components: 

*Air Dissolution System: Generates 20-50 µm microbubbles. 

*Chemical Dosing (Optional): Coagulants (e.g., PAC, FeCl) and flocculants (e.g., PAM) enhance removal efficiency.  

*Skimmer Mechanism: Automatically removes floating sludge.  

Performance: 

*Oil & Grease Removal: >90% 

*SS Removal: 80-95%  

*COD Reduction: 30-50% (depending on wastewater type)  

Anaerobic tank, the main function is removed the phosphorus and bacteria, that low down the COD. The suggested tank size is 8—12 times volume of 1-hour treatment wastewater.

Aerobic Treatment & MBR System tank , the process involves air or oxygen being introduced into a mixture of screened, and primary treated sewage or industrial wastewater (wastewater) combined with organisms to develop a biological flock which reduces the organic content of the sewage.
The main function is removing the nitrifying bacteria and phosphorus bacteria, and low down the COD& BOD;

The tank size normal is about 8-12times per hours treated quantity waste water.

MBR System is separating the clean water from the sewage, Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultrafiltration with a suspended growth bioreactor and is now widely used for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.  MBR separates the clean water from the wastewater, MBR membrane has very small pore sizes that are ranging from 0.04 – 0.4 microns. The MBR process combines triggered sludge treatment with the membrane for liquid-solid separation. When MBR can attain almost complete separation of the suspended solids & dramatic reduction in the contaminants.

WWTP System Limitations 

Not Suitable for: 

   *Strong acids/alkalis (pH <2 or >11): Requires neutralization. 

   *High TDS (>15,000 mg/L): Requires reverse osmosis (RO) after NF. 

   *VOCs (e.g., benzene, acetone): Needs air stripping or activated carbon adsorption. 

   *Radioactive substances: Specialized treatment required.  

Operational Challenges: 

   *MBR Fouling: Requires regular chemical cleaning (NaOCl + citric acid).

PLC + SCADA System: Monitors pH, DO and flux. 

Alarm Triggers: pump failure.

Remote Access: Real-time data logging and adjustments.
